Welcome to the 8th month of the year, August and the 8th Pillar, Truth.

Have you noticed just how much truth is being revealed?

Everywhere we look, truth is being uncovered–in our world, our communities, our relationships and within ourselves.

And I believe this is only the beginning.

Truth has a way of doing that.

It gently removes what no longer serves us. It challenges old beliefs. It invites us to question what we’ve accepted as normal. While that can feel uncomfortable, truth isn’t here to punish us. It is here to awaken us.

The question isn’t whether truth will continue to be revealed.

The question is…

What will we choose to do with it?

You know how passionate I am about helping people navigate this changing world. That is why The Pillar Code exists.

Every day I speak with people who are doing their very best to hold life together, yet underneath they are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, uncertain or simply exhausted by the pace of change around them. Some have lost their confidence. Some have lost their purpose. Some have lost their health, their relationships or their financial security.

I often think of something my father used to say.

“The poorest person is the poor rich man.”

His point was that someone who has known success, happiness, love, purpose or prosperity and then loses it can often feel more lost than someone who never had it in the first place.

Yet what I have witnessed over the years is that people don’t lose their potential.

They lose connection to it.

The world isn’t falling apart.

The world is changing. It is evolving. And it is asking us to evolve with it.

When people understand how to navigate that change consciously, they often rediscover what they thought they had lost. Their confidence returns. Their purpose returns. Their joy returns. Their relationships improve. Their prosperity begins to flow again.

GEORGE often reminds us that every one of us lives from one of two timelines.

Our Light Leader.

Or our Shadow.

Our Light Leader sees what needs to be done and chooses to act.

Our Shadow waits.

It overthinks.

It doubts.

It convinces us that tomorrow will be a better time.

Don’t let your Shadow sabotage your potential.

Then comes the next truth.

How much longer can you afford to wait?

How much more time?

How much more energy?

How much more money?

How much more belief in yourself?

One of the greatest tricks of our FOG is convincing us that tomorrow will somehow be different.

That next month will be easier.

That one day we’ll have more time, more confidence or more certainty.

But what if today is the day your Light Leader has been waiting for?

August is not only the Pillar of Truth.

It is also the stage of Discovery.

Perhaps this month isn’t about discovering something new.

Perhaps it’s about discovering the version of you that has been sitting quietly underneath the FOG all along.

Knowing the truth changes very little.

Choosing to act on it changes everything.
