Being grateful helps you widen your perspective
Look at things more comprehensively, builds your positive energy and well-being, and enhances your confidence and relationships with others. At times like these, when things are uncertain, a gratitude practice can be a STABILISER.
There are benefits to practicing gratitude, especially in times of stress and uncertainty. Gratitude invites positive emotions that can have physical benefits, through the immune and/or endocrine systems.
As PJ Ashley (CEO and Founder of The Pillar Practice) says: “There is an important phase to stop and to give gratitude, for we know that you feel and at times express and know the gratitude that surrounds you. However, it is important also to pause, to communicate, to express, and to confer, on exactly what it is you are grateful for.”
All too often, time passes and you take for granted as you race through your busy lives and miss the obvious that is sitting with you. Everyday is the best time to pause, reflect, and practice gratitude.
It is about time to pause, acknowledge the now, and be grateful along the way! Write what you are thankful for today. Put it in a note and watch yourself become more positive and more productive.L
